My first guess would be tight hamstrings, incredibly common for ppl who don't squat/dl.
I recommend u make him do some Romanian Deadlifts in order for him to stretch his hamstrings and learn what it means to have a straight back. If it is indeed a hamstring issue he won't be able to go down much further than to his knees without bending his back or letting his knees go forward. Make him stop going further down once his knees starts moving forward or his back starts rounding and then have him hold the position for 2-3 seconds. Repeat for maybe 3-4 sets of 10, 2-3 times a week for 2-3 weeks, or wtv u want to do. The point isn't for him to build muscle with it, it's to teach his body how to activate his spinal errectors correctly and learning how to move his ass back without letting his knees travel forward, so don't use a heavy weight he can't control, leave the ego at the door and have him do light weights (60kg or so)while still feeling the stretch in the hamstring.

This might not be the problem... But 95% of the time, if he can't get into the right setup with his lower back, it's tight/short hamstrings.

Romanian deadlifts (not to be confused with stiffed legged deadlifs):

Dude hes training for likecmore than 2 year and hes doing dls since like a year ago i offered him the idea of romanian dl he tryed to do it but the problem was the same moreover hes doing squats with no problem may e its somehow connected when we were younger he had lower back problem it was all time hurting he went to a doctor the doctor told him to trainthia place he did so and the pain was over

If he can't even start lowering the bar in a RDL without rounding maybe he has some spinal abnormality or a posterior pelvic tilt.
If u think his hamstrings r not short simply because he has worked out for 2 years (I know ppl who have and have squatted in that time yet still have tight hamstrings) then without a video there is no way of knowing.
good luck to ur friend
