Romano's New Year Fat Loss Stack​

I rang in the last few New Years with a party on the terrace up on my roof, much to the chagrin of my neighbors across the way. They've caught more than one glimpse of a perfectly round female booty cleaved rather provocatively with a neon T-Back and they have brought their disdain for such scenery to my attention, along with a rather lippy commentary on my choice of music and the volume at which it's played. Not one to be bullied by folks who just don't know how to have fun, the last two new Year's Eves have turned into full-blown raves lasting two or three days, by the end of which, my guests and I have all purportedly set new personal lows. Nothing we're proud of mind you, but it sure felt good while it was happening. And hey, it carried enough momentum to clear out my neighbors, who now spend New Year's somewhere else.​

If this year's festivities last more than a whole night and the next day, which they probably will, chances are the muscle heads in attendance will be pretty eaten up from partying and not eating the whole time. They'll complain about it relentlessly when reality sets in and they start stuffing their faces amid a self-nullifying soliloquy as to the depths of their depravity; for doing such damage to themselves in the name of fun. Rather than let them curse me and vow never to return, I tell these guys to look at it this way: What a perfect time to get a jump on the old "get back in shape" New Year's resolution to which we all usually commit. Why not put down the Hagen Daz and start while we're ahead? Turn the negative around and capitalize on what got started!​

Operative Word: Rock​

being the superlative host that I am, i always like to give a gift - as sort of a party favor - to my guests who fly all the way down to Mexico to ring in the new year with me. Last year, I gave gift certificates good for one lap dance down at Junior's, but just as soon as everyone figured out it was still open at five in the morning, they all left me hanging to go collect their prizes. So, this year I'm giving them something a little different.​

hot on the heels of my Christmas stack, my New Year's stack is designed to dismantle the belief that gaining size while whittling away fat is theoretical. I always thought it was possible; perhaps that's why i don't weigh 250, no problema - at 5-foot-9, I'd look pretty cool.​

Train like an animal, eat like one too, and take a pile of drugs along with GH and insulin and anyone can hit 250. Eventually. By now, I'd probably have settled into a 230- pound rock. that would really be cool. But you know what? I'm big enough. The 200-pound rock I wear over my bones is pretty cool too, especially at 41. The operative word here is "rock". As far as I'm concerned, condition over bulk is always going to look better, even if the scale dips into what you once thought of as the danger zone.​

Look at it this way. If you've been lifting for five or 10 years or more, you would hopefully have packed on some muscle. Probably, the majority of the muscle you will eventually build is under there, somewhere. If you're not going to compete - I'm starting to speculate that most of us don't - hardening up what you already have covered is bloat and fat would really be a better expenditure of your finances and energy than merely getting bigger and bigger in the hope that one day you'll be big enough. Then what? Anyone can be big, but big and lean is a whole different animal - more desirable, too (so I'm told).​

Cutting up for the New Year is a worthy cause, indeed. You owe it to yourself to go for it, especially if you never have before. Now, I'm not telling anyone to go out and break the law. But, if you actually ever did take an extended vacation in a resort town in Mexico with a very amenable pharmacy, you'd probably want to get hold of what would be the ultimate fat burning stack to help you attain your goal. Right? Just once in their lives, some guys want to pull out all the stops and go for it, taking advantage of everything science has to offer. So, get out your credit card and get a cash advance. This isn't gong to be Leaning Out In Mexico for $5.00 a Day.​

It Ain't Just Drugs​

This is a 16-week cycle, including the taper, which I've mapped out in an easy-to-read chart. But, it's about more than just taking drugs. Your training and your diet are just as important, if not more. The ultimate goal is to be hard as a rock by week 16, sparing as much muscle in the process, so everything counts. And, you have to train with extreme intensity and do cardio. As far as your diet goes, use your head and email Cathy Sassin at Intrafitt ([email protected]) for a custom program. I've directed tons of people her way and they all got lean as hell. She gives the best diet in town, and she's the ones who will tell you how much cardio to do.​

With that said, there's your shopping list. Bare in mind, although many of these drugs are made by several different manufacturers and are available from sources in different countries, I'm only listing those I readily find where I live in Mexico. If you have decided to go against my advice and break the law by availing yourself of these drugs while residing in a country where they are illegal, you'll probably find descriptions of the alternatives available on the street in one of the many steroid handbooks or steroid-related websites. ​

Sustanon 250. This is like the re-bar in a concrete foundation. This is by far the most popular androgen used in a cutting cycle, if you're actually going to use androgens in a cutting cycle. It is upon Sustanon that you will stack the rest of your gear. Unlike other androgens, such as cypionate and enanthate, Sustanon leads to less water retention and androgenic side effects. This is extremely alluring to bodybuilders who don't particularly care for the typical testosterone side effects, yet still seek the powerful anabolic effect of an injectable testosterone. These are exactly the properties we're looking for here. The decreased water retention and the ability of testosterone to stimulate lipolysis also makes Sustanon the perfect foundation to this stack. Beware thought, in the true essence of the adage "no pain no gain," the propionate component to this drug leaves, for those sensitive to it, a brutal calling card. that's the breaks. Deal with it. You'll need 21 of them at about $15 apiece, or $315.

Deca. A cutting cycle without Deca is like sauteed foie gras without the fine sauterne. Nandrolone decanoate is hugely popular among thousands of steroid users for both bulking and cutting. It's a low androgenic steroid, with high anabolic properties. It is excellent for developing size and strength, with very little liver toxicity or excessive disturbance to the bodys own hormone functions. Deca is commonly used in cutting stacks because of its marked effect on lowering body fat and preserving lean mass. it's also a steroid many guys find they can stay on for extended periods of time, at low doses, and still see its effect. However, a recent study showed that 600 milligrams a week was the optimal dose for a short duration cycle.
The Organon human version is available in Mexico. However, the veterinary is significantly less expensive and just as good - better actually, because less oil needs to be injected for the same milligram amount. Broval's Noradren 200 is 200 mg/ml and the Ttokkyo's Norandren 300 is 300mg/ml. You'll need three bottles of the Broval or two bottles of the Ttokkyo for a total cost of $165 or $130, respectively.

Primobolan Depot. "primo" is such a suave drug that many bodybuilders use it to bridge their hard-core cycles. It's commonly used while contest dieting because it does not aromatize into estrogen or cause water retention. Chemically known as Methenolone, Primobolan can be used in conjunction with virtually any combination of steroids and it does not effect natural testosterone production. Injectable Primo is one of the only steroids that work well on a low-calorie diet. It's not particularly effective for beefing up, as it tends to harden and add muscle tome more than build mass. Primo also seems to make the other drugs work a little better. There couldn’t be a better ancillary steroid component to a cutting stack than Primo. You'll need 33 of them at a total cost of $462.

Proviron. This anabolic steroid is not taken for its anabolic effect. It’s used in conjunction with Nolvadex and Arimidex as an anti-aromatase, or anti-estrogen, in this case in a DHT-like anti-estrogen manner. In Any case, aromatase inhibition with Arimidex seems to affect more muscle hardness when Proviron is used with it.
It is also somewhat affective as an anti-progesterone-induced gyno agent and it appears to reduce estrogenic bloating. You could conceivably do without it, but why wonder what if? Besides, you only need 13 boxes of them for a whopping $130. You decide if it’s worth it; I think it is.

Winstrol Tabs.Stanazolol is commonly used in cutting cycles with Primobolan, Deca and testosterone. But, it goes with just about anything. Winstrol is usually stacked with Deca to help control the joint discomfort that’s a common side effect of Winstrol. Rock climbers love this drug because it really seems to make a little muscle a lot stronger. This is a desirable attribute if you think about hauling your ass up an overhanging pitch. Lighter and stronger usually translates into hard and ripped, too. You’ll need a bottle of 100, at around $100.

Oxandrolone Tabs.The chemical component of the discontinued legitimate Anavar, this is a mild, low androgenic 17-apha alkylated anabolic steroid with very low toxicity. Hence, it’s the favorite of thousands of men and women because of its relative benign nature. Anavar users favor the drug because it promotes protein anabolism, and in clinical studies, oxandrolone has enhanced body fat reduction significantly in both the abdominal and visceral stores. This makes it a must-use cutting drug.
Anavar helps build muscle without causing serious liver damage in the short term (no more than four months). It’s also thought to stimulate the production of growth hormone. Research shows that Anavar is the one anabolic steroid least likely to cause any side effects. There are very rarely reports of ill effects of any kind using Anavar. You’ll need three for a total of $405.

HCG.Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is best used during a long cycle as a means of stimulating natural testosterone production, rather than at the end of a cycle. I’m adding it in the middle, just when the heavy androgen is stopped. This is because the surge of natural testosterone from HCG will trigger increased estrogen production, which is exactly what you don’t want at the end of a cycle when you should be trying to convince your balls that their siesta is over. This way, they come back to life while you’re still on, and then the Clomid, Nolvadex and Arimidex can deal with the residual estrogen rebound at the end. The Profasi I use comes in a big single-use glass ampoule, so I load up five insulin syringes with 1,000 IU each and keep the remaining four in the refrigerator until they’re needed. Don’t stand up in the open ampoule containing the unused portion in the butter compartment and keep drawing off it until it’s empty, or spilled out, or infested with bacteria. You’ll need 28 kits for a total of $196.

Clomid.Clomiphere Citrate is more effective than HCG at the end of a cycle. It blocks estrogens at the hypothalamus. This reduces the signal your brains ends to manufacture leveling estrogen when it senses elevated testosterone, while allowing for a resumption of natural testosterone production. Clomid will not block the aromatase that results from high androgen levels, but this only happens when test levels are very high,, during the cyucle when HCG is the better choice. Clomid is used on the downswing and for as long a four weeks afterward at 50 Milligrams a day. Start the first week with 100 milligrams a day, then go to 50. This aspect of the stack is really critical because estrogen rebound will really make you upset, its effect is profound and it takes months to straighten out. The worst thing you can do is ignore your balls; if you do, they’ll just go away. You’ll need two boxes totaling $16.

Active Ingredient: Clomiphene Citrate​

Arimidex. As an aromatase inhibitor. Anastrozol’s mechanism of action – inhibiting the conversion of aromatizable steroids to estrogen – is in contrast to the mechanism of action of anti-estrogens such as Clomid or Novadex, which block estrogen receptors in some tissues. Why block estrogen when you can inhibit it? Other than the shotgun effect of using everything of which I am a firm devotee, Arimidex is extremely expensive, costing approximately $100 for a box of 30 tabs. You’ll only need one box though, so the expense is, in my book, worth it. Remember, estrogen is the arch enemy at the end of a cycle – inhibit it, block it, step on it, smash it and anything else that will keep it to a minimum. I have considered it with every addition to this stack and it is probably the most important underlying aspect of the stack. Estrogen will smooth out your physique in a hurry, and make you weak and miserable. Just like your chick when she’s got the painters in every month.

Nolvadex.The final component of this safeguard part of the stack is temoxifin. It’s very compatible with Clomid and Arimidex because it’s a nixed estrogen agonist/antagonist of he same type as Clomid. The two molecules are also very similar in structure. Many bodybuilders believe Nolvadex reduces levels of estrogen. Not quite. Nolvadex blocks estrogen from estrogen receptors, it does not inhibit it like Arimidex does. With that said, I must warn users about using Nolvadex in conjunction with GH. Again, human studies here are sketchy, but it could be constructed from available data that Nolvadex inhibits, or reduces, the effect of IGF-1. Since GH is converted to IGF-1 almost immediately in the liver, I would caution against using Nolvadex on the days you use GH. And for a couple of days before and after. You’ll need four boxes for a total of $40.

Active Ingredient: Tamoxifen Citrate​

Clenbuterol.“Clen-jitter-ol”is a beta-2 agonist, with properties somewhat similar to adrenaline, sold worldwide for the treatment of asthma. It acts as a CNS stimulant, hence users commonly report side effects such as Parkinson’s-like tremor in the hands, insomnia, nervousness, or the jitters. Bodybuilders who are not eye surgeons on the side use Clan primarily because of its pronounced thermogenic effect. Dosage varies between two and eight 20-microgram (mcg) tablets per day for fat loss. Clenbuterol is only effective for two to three weeks; then its thermogenic properties subside. This is why it is only used during the last weeks of the cycle. I have also been known to cycle on and off Clen in two-week cycles for extended periods of time. Some guys tell me they use it for two weeks, then go off for two days, then back on for two. I still find the effect less than when a longer break is taken.
There’s also speculation that Clen has anabolic properties. Unfortunately, there are no human studies to support this. However, animal studies are compelling, the most recent of which, done on horses, finds significant fat burning effects of Clen when rump fat levels were monitored using ultrasound. Kind of kills the “fat as a horse’s ass” thing. Slight increases in muscle mass were also noted. Unfortunately, exercise efficiency was shown to decrease. But, remember, the study subjects were horses. I think it does decrease based on my experience; I’ve had very difficult days in the gym on Clen. You’ll only need nine boxes for a total of $50.

Growth Hormone.By the age of 60, most people will have approximately 80 percent less growth hormone in their systems than when they were 20. GH has amazing age-reversing effects that make it possibly the strongest anabolic substance available. Some benefits associated with GH supplementation include improved brain activity and function; strengthened connective tissue, which reduces the probability of injury; incredible weight loss without any loss in lean mass; promotion of muscle growth; improved functions of the lungs, which increases the level of oxygen in the bloodstream; added immune system support and thymus functional and probably the most impressive characteristic-its ability to produce more muscle cells, something no steroid can do. Hence, GH has been the supplement of choice for many professional athletes over the years.
Dosages for GH are a matter of great debate. While some top pro bodybuilders reportedly use up to 36 IU a day, some anti-aging folks get by with 3 IU a day and report great benefit. For sane bodybuilders without a money tree growing in their backyard, either scenario is a waste. Recent studies show that although GH levels spike shortly after falling asleep and after intense training, as well as other sorts of stress, levels in growing children spike significantly only for a few days, then settle back down for nearly a month before they spike again.
Owing to my frugal nature and my disdain for water retention, I have found that GH is best used six days on and 21 days off. This not only more closely mimics the GH spikes that growing children experience, but it also vastly reduces the amount you’ll need to use. Those of you using real GH will probably notice its propensity to cause water retention. Dealing with it day in and day out is a problem. However, for six days, you can drop a couple of Diamox, or other mild diuretic, and cure the problem. I’m using 6 IU a day for six days on and 21 days off. You will need eight bottles of 18 IU for the 16-week cycle. Unfortunately, the Sorono is packaged seven bottles to a box, requiring you to purchase 2 boxes. You might as well keep taking it until the second box is gone. Split the shot up into two 3-IU shots a day., sub Q, during the times when GH isn’t normally spiked. First thing in the morning and the middle of the afternoon work pretty well, depending on when you train. Add $1,000 to the bill.

Cytomel.T-3 speeds the conversion of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Bodybuilders are especially interested in Cytomel because of its increased fat-burning effect and its synergy with GH. Competing bodybuilders use Cytomel during the weeks before a competition because it helps maintain extremely low body fat levels without starving. Atheletes who use low dosages of Cytomel report that by the simultaneous intake of steroids, the steroids become more effective, most likely as a result of the faster conversion of protein. I will issue a strong warning here. T-3 is extremely powerful, and taken with the classic bodybuilder mentality of “if a little is good, more must be better,” you could eat yourself up completely, as well as shut down you own thyroid production. This would necessitate the use of it for as long as you wish to live. However, at 25 mcg twice a day, only on the days you do GH, it is pretty harmless, especially for the sort term. You can pick up the bottle you need for $6.​

Warning: Cytomel comes with an extensive list of warnings and precautions that are not to be ignored!​

The following three items, while not technically drugs, do burn fat on par with just about any drug other than DNP, which I am not including here because the potential for disaster is far too great. However, ephedrine/caffeine combinations, green tea extract and CLA definitely have their place in this stack.​

Ephedrine/Caffeine.Perhaps the stalwart of thermogenics, this combo (20 mg of ephedrine/200 mg caffeine taken three times daily) has been around long enough to prove itself beyond reproach. Everyone uses it because it works, and it works well. In consideration of the other fat-burning drugs I’ve included here, ephedrine/caffeine is probably used more for its stimulant effect before bouts of cardio or weight training. I will caution you though; combining ephedrine/caffeine with both T-3 and Clenbuterol could cause high blood pressure.​

Warning: Those suffering from heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure or cardiac irregularities, thyroid or psychiatric disease, including anxiety or depression, should not take ephedrine or caffeine.​

Green Tea Extract. A recent study examined the effects of a green tea extract standardized for 90 milligrams of epigallocatechin gallate plus caffeine (taken three times daily) on energy expenditure and fat oxidation. The results showed significant increase in 24-hours energy expenditure compared to the placebo or to caffeine alone. It was from oxidized fat. These data are compelling enough for me to include it in this stack because I consider its effect like that of ephedrine, to be drug-like.​

CLA. The last in my non-drug free entries, conjugated linoleic acid, is an unsaturated fatty acid that has been shown to reduce body fat and increase lean mass. The human study revealed that abdominal fat loss was significant, as was the decrease in abdominal diameter. I notice a difference when I use it. (For best results, take 4.2 grams of CLA daily.)​

All together, it stacks up like the chart. (picture below) While I’m drawing out my shots, I load two syringes equally. If I can’t fit everything into two 3cc syringes, as might be the case in weeks 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. I’ll load up four equally. Site injecting is where it’s at, dudes. Calves, bis, tris, delts, or any other lagging parts, come impairs, hence two shots. There will actually be a day, when I get to hit myself six times with a pin when you count growth, Holy Shit!
You can tear it out and hang it on the fridge for easy reference. It might look like a lot, but it really isn’t the worst week is eight, which totals 1,645 milligrams. The weeks leading up are less, and taper is very light. This is a baby stack compared to what some guy take, even the price. Here in Mexico, this whole thing will set me back right around three grand. Black market prices would easily be double or triple, and perhaps then, cost prohibitive. However, I have had great success on this stack and so have a couple of my friends. I’ll be interested to see what happens this year when several more give it a go.​
